Supporting Health In Africa
Africa remains the poorest continent on Earth and is suffering from huge health problems. The challenge seems overwhelming.
Homeopaths working in Africa find their patients really benefit from their treatment. Homeopaths can be trained for less than a fifth of the cost of training doctors, and homeopathic remedies cost pence rather than pounds.
SHEAF is a charity formed to directly support those training and working in the field of Homeopathy and health care in Africa.
In Kenya’s Toru clinic, homeopaths successfully treat the local people.

The situation
It is often many days walk or an expensive bus journey to the nearest government hospital.
The Sheaf Trust aims are:
Training of African Homeopaths
Professional training in naturopathy/homeopathy
Supporting the development of clinics in rural areas
Healthcare in Africa using complementary and traditional remedies
Improving self-help for the poor in Africa
Training local people in the use of homeopathy, for emergencies and acute situations
Improving self-help for the poor in Africa
The education of local people in basic nursing skills, nutrition and home-based care
In Ghana we are donating funds to help develop a clinic in Kumasi.
